Q. How does the food stay fresh without preservatives?

A. At BLEP, we keep it natural and no preservatives are used. We utilise a cutting-edge method called retorting, originally used for astronauts. The food is vacuum-sealed in pouches and subjected to a blast of cooking and sterilizing heat. Thanks to our innovative methods, our sealed packs have a 12-month shelf life without refrigeration and can be stored in your pantry alongside pulses and rice. However, once opened, they must be refrigerated since all BLEP products contain zero preservatives.

Q. Are the meals suitable for kittens?

A. Ofcourse, if your kitten is over 10 weeks of age and has begun consuming solid food, you can introduce them to BLEP products with confidence. Q. How should I store Blepworld food?

A. Our sealed packs can be stored in a cool, dry area for up to one year. No refrigeration is needed for our cat food, and they can be stored just like the pulses and rice in your cupboard.  After opening, refrigerate and consume within 48 hours for optimal freshness.

Q. Can the food be stored once the pack is opened?

A. An open pack of our cat food is pretty much just like your own human food and should be refrigerated. Since our packs do not contain preservatives, we recommend consuming the open, refrigerated pack within 24-48 hrs.

Q. How do I transition my cat to Blepworld meals?

A. When switching your cat to BLEP food, add a small proportion of the fresh food the brand offers to your kitty’s diet. Gradually add more BLEP food within a period of 9 days until your cat’s tummy settles. If issues persist, continue for 2-3 more days.
